I've seen previews for it on television, but hadn't thought I would come to see it in theaters. What were the reviews like?

Pretty good. The first half is good enough as a straightforward drama, but the reveal that the main character got involved in organized crime propelled the themes of forgiveness and dark secrets.

Right, I remember seeing that in the trailers. Seems like it'll be a good movie.

They did? What about the part where his old gang runs into him? There's no intense violence, but it's still a brutal scene.

[That was supposed to be a shocking reveal.]
